Sam Cochran is a guitarist, performer, and songwriter based out of the DMV. He is mostly known for founding the band Seven Teller, although he plays regularly with his Europe 72 Band (Grateful Dead), Phish Set, Sam Cochran’s Dark Side (Pink Floyd), numerous quartets, trios, duos, and as a solo act. When Sam is performing covers he pulls from a wide array of music; from bluegrass, to reggae, zydeco to funk, and jazz to rock n’ roll.
Sam has built a following in the past few years by putting on some killer local performances, arranging bands with renowned musicians, and bringing a positive attitude to every gig. He is making new friends wherever he goes, whether it’s with the audience members, venue operators, or other musicians. Contact Sam to book one of his tribute bands, or as a quartet/trio/duo/solo.
